http://www.stewmac.com/ The Mike Bloomfield Tele is back in Dan’s shop. It's in for a refret, and that means working very carefully on this historic guitar. As Dan pulls all the frets, does he manage to avoid chipping the old rosewood fingerboard? This is the 1963 Tele that Mike Bloomfield used to record iconic guitar solos with Bob Dylan and the Paul Butterfield Blues Band in 1965. It's cut my time down in half, and I have gotten awesome, consistent, repeatable results. The tool is extremely simple to build, so this hack isn't so much about the tool as it is about the theory and technique. Let me know what you think in the comments!

This Fender Telecaster came to me with a stripped truss rod nut. It turned out that the nut was completely stuck in the truss rod channel. As you will see it took a lot of effort on my part to extract the nut and replace it. But I got there in the end.
